Mission

The Planned Giving Committee supports the Summit mission by creating a firm financial foundation in service to future Summit generations.

Objectives

• Educate Summit’s membership and friends about:
  •   planned giving platforms
  •   the UUA’s planned giving resources
  •   the role of the Endowment in Summit’s finances, in collaboration with the endowment committee
• Create mechanisms to facilitate planned giving at Summit.

Responsibilities

• Develop mission statement and planned giving policies.
• Coordinate with UUA about planned giving protocols and resources.
• Inform congregation about planned giving opportunities.
• Develop a system for planned giving recognition.
• Develop planned giving resources for Summit congregants.
