Water Communion 2023

Today, we celebrate one of Unitarian Universalist’s ritual traditions, and learn about the history of what brings us to this sacred practice. Participants are encouraged to bring water to use: from travels, from places close to their hearts, even from their own sink!

About our speaker:

KC Marie Pandell hails from a spiritual, yet nonreligious background, finding Unitarian Universalism by way of theatre, and became a member at the UU Church Fullerton in 2017, where she has formerly served as Worship Chair, and on their Board of Trustees. A lifelong actor, she has her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Chapman University (2012), and earned her first unit of Clinical Pastoral Education from Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity from Meadville-Lombard Theological School (2023) , in addition to serving the Unitarian Universalist Church in Anaheim as Contract Minister, and Tapestry Unitarian Universalist as Intern Minister through the 2023 church year.

She is seeking UU ordination & fellowship, with plans to become a parish minister for the UU community.

Full time dog mom to Zeus, Lily, Vulcan & Artemis, and housemate to cat Persephone, she enjoys reading, writing, singing in her car, Marvel movies, and daydreaming about traveling the world.
