Rev. Dr. Arvid Straube has been a parish minister for 35 years. He has served congregations in Washington State, North Carolina and, most recently, was Lead Minister of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego. Dr. Straube earned an MA at the University of Chicago Divinity School and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Meadville Lombard Theological School. Meadville awarded him an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree in 2013. Dr. Straube is an Affiliate Faculty at Meadville and has a ministry of spiritual direction.
