“White supremacy” is a cultural pattern of dominance and subjugation rooted in the European conquest and colonization of the Western Hemisphere that began in the 15th century C.E. In recent years it has become a popular diagnosis for much of what is wrong in American culture today. Just what are we talking about when we use the term “white supremacy?” Is it really that big of a problem and, if it is, how shall we as faithful people respond to it?
