Rev. Tania Marquez will be speaking at our pulpit on Easter Sunday and reflecting on Renewal as a form of Resistance by touching on Jesus’s story and his show of resistance in the week before Easter. We will be celebrating the miracle of spring and its message of rebirth with a Flower Communion. Our RE children will help us.

Look around for signs of spring, Summitarians, and search your garden, your neighborhood, your local store for flowers to bring to our Flower Communion Ritual on Easter Sunday April 9th. Rev. Tania Marquez will be speaking at our pulpit and reflecting on Renewal as a form of Resistance by touching on Jesus’s story and his show of resistance in the week before Easter.  We will be celebrating the miracle of spring and its message of rebirth with a Flower Communion. Our RE children will help us tell this story and participate in this ritual with a unique inter-generational service.
