Please join us for our annual Flower Communion service! We can’t all meet together in person to exchange flowers, so instead we will have a virtual exchange… but it will be in real time on Sunday. Before the service, please find some flowers you would like to share — flowers from nature or from the store, or a drawing, or a photo, or a painting — and have it with you on Sunday in a place where your Zoom camera can see it. We will have a virtual processional, where each person who wants to will have their Zoom screen spotlighted for a moment, so we can all see what we each have brought to the community. (No flowers? No problem! We appreciate everyone for the gifts of their presence and their individuality.) We’re still working out the details, but we are confident that we will have a meaningful flower communion ritual, that all can participate in.
(If you prefer not to have your video spotlighted — or if technical issues prevent you from using video on Zoom — but you still want to share an image of a flower, feel free to email me a photograph of you and some flowers. Be sure to include your name! Email: rev.everett.howe@gmail.com
