Must you notify Summit if you include it as a beneficiary?
It can be a good idea to notify Summit but it is not required. Summit is grateful to learn of future gifts and can sometimes assist by providing information about ways to give more effectively and assure the property will be used as intended. Notifying Summit of a planned gift will allow Summit to recognize you through the donor recognition society while you are alive.
