Rev. Lone Jensen Broussard grew up in Copenhagen, Denmark; lived in Baghdad Iraq for seven years; and has served churches in Chicago Ill, Portsmouth New Hampshire, Wilmington, North Carolina, Chandler Arizona, and Birmingham, and Alabama before retiring to San Diego where her son’s family lives. Lone holds a degree in Psychology and a Master of Fine Arts from Louisiana State University as well as a Master of Divinity from Meadville Lombard Theological School.

“I still believe after all my years in ministry that Unitarian Universalism holds a real hope for this world. My role as a retired minister is to support and help our ministry grow in whatever ways I can contribute. I consider it an honor and a joy.
