Summit’s Social Justice in Action Committee invites you to show your support for the LGBTQ+ community by being a part of the UU Cluster’s contingent in this year’s Pride Parade in Hillcrest on the morning of Saturday July 16th.
There are 3 ways to participate:
1) reserve a seat in the Old Town Trolley that First Church rents to anchor the float;
2) march in front of the float and hold banners or wave to the crowd;
3) join in Summit’s “precision” parasol team to march in formation with occasional parasol twirls.
The parasol team is fun, great exercise and a crowd-pleaser (over 300,000 are expected to attend).
