Although this Sunday’s date might fittingly celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving Day on the 11th, it’s always a good season to honor what Cicero called “our primary virtue”: the parent of joy, love, and wisdom. The full life launches with a heart brimming with gratitude.
The Rev. Dr. Tom Owen-Towle was ordained in 1967 and is honored to be returning to SUUF where he served as our interim minister for two years. Tom is currently preaching hither and yon, via zoom, singing once again in nursing homes, mentoring youth, and recently completed a book titled “Making Peace With Our Own Death”.
