85% of adults in UU congregations found this as their spiritual home as adults. Only 15% of the adults were raised UU. Some left and came back. Some stayed. Today we will hear from three Raised UUs who never left. Elinor Weed, Mary Carter-Vail and Nick Orr will share their experiences as young adults on the local, district, and national levels. We will also explore what UU congregations – and we as Summitarians – can do to keep our high school graduates engaged. What kinds of spaces do Emerging Adults (18-25) and Young Adults (18-35) want and need?
