The San Diego County UU Contingent at this year’s Pride Parade in Hillcrest will gather at position #158 in the Blue Staging Area on Centre St between Harvey Milk St and Lincoln. Please arrive at 11:15 AM or earlier (see the attached map). Public transport, ride share or drop off is recommended. If you drive, there is a shuttle from Inspiration Point in Balboa Park, but parking is limited and shuttles may not get you to the start point in time. See this web site for transportation details: https://www.sdmts.com/rider-info/events/san-diego-pride-parade-festival . Please bring water, sunscreen and hats.  Marchers are welcome for the 1.5 mile parade! If you wish, you may pick up a colored parasol from a box near the door to the Summit office. If you distribute any information or trinkets, these must be handed off, not thrown. There is the opportunity to ride on the UU float (flatbed truck), but it does involve some climbing and stamina.
