Description: I will discuss the struggles and triumphs women went through, like myself, especially during the last thirty years of the 1900s, in order to enter ministerial leadership as men had done since the beginnings of our movement. Today, there are more UU self-identified female ministers than men.
What are the spiritual and moral implications of how women are being regarded and treated in our society today? On this Social Action Sunday, worship will revolve around a personal and intimate sharing by one Summit member, and how her life has been impacted by her experiences with our country’s legal system.
