This is the season of far too many bright lights and loud messages that asks us to buy and celebrate. But is that what we really need? Celebration yes but maybe a look inward will help us to find what we really need and want. Remember when you were very young how these holy days seemed filled with wonder? When it was easy to believe in Santa and angels and an oil lamp that burned for seven days? We do need a star to guide us to a place within our hearts where we find hope, goodness and dare I say the sacred?
