We are all living in a liminal time, the space between. For nearly three years we have dreamed of going back to the way things were, and yet so much has changed during these years of living with a global pandemic that we need to imagine a new future. But how? Like First UU in San Diego, Summit UU Fellowship is living through a time of ministerial transition on top of all the other changes that we are all experiencing across the US and around the world. I look forward to being with you on Sunday, January 15th to explore how we might make the most of this liminal space that we find ourselves in.

Rev. Justine Sullivan is currently serving as Lead Developmental Minister at First UU San Diego. Justine grew up in Massachusetts and has lived most of her life in New England, but something about this San Diego community called to her, and she and her wife Dale and their dog Callie headed west for this adventure. Justine entered the ministry after working for over 20 years as a clinical social worker and before that as a technical writer and manager in high technology. She finds that everything she learned in those past careers help her in work as a minister specializing in working with congregations in transition.
