The Rev. Ned Wight returns to our virtual pulpit to explore the idea of “accountability” in our world today. People have very different understandings of the word “accountability”. No wonder we disagree about what it means to “hold someone accountable”. Yet, accountability is a fundamental human value, which we need to understand in any quest to “find our center”.
Please join us for what promises to be an engaging conversation.

Rev. Ned Wight currently chairs the board of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, partnering with grassroots organizations to champion human rights at home and abroad, and serves as Vice President for the UU Retired Ministers and Partners Association. He retired from active parish ministry in August 2019 after serving the UU Congregation at Shelter Rock (Manhasset, NY), Summit UU Fellowship (Santee, CA), and the First Church in Belmont (MA). He holds degrees from Harvard Divinity School, Boston University and Stanford University, and lives in William Cullen Bryant’s historic home, Cedarmere, in Roslyn, NY, on the north shore of Long Island.
