These days it is easy to feel lost in the noise and division that surrounds us. Where is the way out? Can we ever get along? What role do we play as a self-proclaimed free faith? What remains when so much has been lost? How do we make a map for this journey?
Reverend Lone Jensen Broussard grew up in Copenhagen, Denmark; lived in Baghdad Iraq for seven years; and she has served churches in Chicago, Ill, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Wilmington, North Carolina, Chandler, Arizona, and Birmingham, Alabama before retiring to San Diego where her son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter live.
Lone holds a degree in Psychology and a Master of Fine Arts from Louisiana State University as well as a Master of Divinity from Meadville Lombard Theological School.
“I still believe after all my years in ministry that Unitarian Universalism holds a real hope for this world. My role as a retired minister is to support and help our ministry grow in whatever ways I can contribute. I consider it an honor and a joy.“
